Logik.io Essentials

Overview

This course provides the student with a discussion of Logik.io’s Commerce Logic Engine and its core, central feature set.  Students will be exposed to features that are critical to everyday use of the Commerce Logic Engine, and the Administrative interface used to manage and setup this set of critical features.

Objectives

After successfully completing this course, the student will be able to:

  • Describe the Logik.io Commerce Logic Engine and its purpose.
  • Create Configurable Products within Salesforce for use with Logik.io’s Commerce Logic Engine.
  • Create a Blueprint in Logik.io’s Administration User Interface.
  • Create Fields in the Logik.io Admin Interface and associate those Fields with a Blueprint.
  • Create a Layout using the Layout Wizard, make changes via the Layout Wizard as well as making changes/updates directly in the Layout CSV file.
  • Create various types of Rules in the Logik.io Admin Interface to control the configuration of products in the class use case.
  • Create Picklist Extensions to add additional information to menu options in a Picklist Field, use the value of one or more Fields to filter the list of menu options in a Picklist Field, and add Product information to the Configuration Bill of Materials (BOM) based on the menu option selected by the user.
  • Describe various Help options available for Logik.io.

Logik.io Advanced Admin

Overview

This course provides the student with an examination of various Advanced level features of Logik.io’s Commerce Logic Engine. Topics such as Table Lookups, Sets, Field Grids, Advanced Product Rules, Enrichments, and External Connections will be covered during the class. There is an expectation that all students have a basic understanding of coding, as the creation of numerous advanced function scripts will be part of the exercises throughout the course.

Objectives

After successfully completing this course, the student will be able to:

  • Perform various types of table lookups in advanced function scripts.
  • Create a Set using both a Set size field as well as an associated picklist field.
  • Create a Field Grid on the Layout.
  • Create various Advanced Product Rules to allow product information to be added to the Configuration BOM.
  • Create both Configuration Initialization and BOM Response Enrichments and use them appropriately within the class use case.
  • Create various types of Rules in the Logik.io Admin Interface to control the configuration of products in the class use case.
  • Create an External Connection to gather information from a third-party source and use it in the class use case.
